Joined Jan 27, 2017. 6,028 Posts. #14 · Oct 10, 2021. Can’t see any way antifreeze could be in the plug well short of entering from the top. I’m going out on a limb here but I’m thinking that is oil. It’s a fairly common problem and many succesful repairs include replacing the cover as opposed to replacing the seal.. I have a leaking intake manifold gasket that has been leaking for a while now (3k miles at least!). So there has been antifreeze in some of the spark plug holes for a good amount of time. Just want to know if i should get new coils because the old ones (original on a 2000 with 94k) are not only old but have been soaking in antifreeze.
